We have been working with the Guru Teghbahadur Gudwara with converting a derelict building into a new worship space. The existing building used to be a farmhouse before being a Council run community facility. It then was split into two dwellings which were used antisocially before being sold by the Council. Whilst the building has been derelict, the land adjoining the property continued to be used for anti-social behaviour.
The two dwellings have been knocked together to create a new worship hall upstairs and a langar downstairs along with a kitchen and bedroom and visiting Gurus.
